More Hitches in Historical Linguistics
16-17 March 2015, Gent
The first workshop on Hitches in Historical Linguistics was organized at the University of Bergen in 2012. Its sequel HiHiLi2 will be held on 16-17 March 2015 at the Royal Academy of Dutch Language & Literature (KANTL), Koningstraat 18, Gent. The aim of the workshop is to bring together historical linguists of different persuasions to present and discuss ongoing work in progress on current issues in historical linguistics. The workshop is sponsored by the ERC-funded project EVALISA (The Evolution of Case, Alignment and Argument Structure in Indo-European) led by Jóhanna Barðdal and supported by DiaLing (Research Cluster in Historical Linguistics & Language Variation). Participation in the workshop is free, but registration for lunches and reception is obligatory (michael.frotscher@ugent.be).
